This year The Sethi Partnership Solicitors will be taking part in the London Legal Walk, which takes place on Monday 22nd May, beginning in Carey Street at the heart of the London legal district.
It’s not the first time that Sethi has been involved in the event, and you can view some images from our participation in last year’s walk on our Facebook page here. The idea is to raise money for legal aid charities across London and the South East, in the fight to ensure that justice becomes equally available to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. This principle is at the cornerstone of the legal justice system in England and Wales, and is integral to the Firm’s social responsibility policy.
We will be walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust which funds Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London. We know that these agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation.
In 2017 we have set ourselves the ambitious target of raising £1,000 around our participation in the event. Therefore, if you would like to support us and are interested in making a donation then you can do so at our fundraising page here.
Additionally, there are opportunities to join Team Sethi in walking at this event and donating your time as well as money in participating in this fantastic project. For more information on this you can contact Jemini Gova, Trainee Solicitor for The Sethi Partnership Solicitors, directly on firstname.lastname@example.org.
