The Sethi Partnership Solicitors attended the 25th anniversary of the Society of Asian Lawyers Annual Awards celebrating the successes and achievements of Asian Lawyers across the UK.
Ritu Sethi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for demonstrating resilience, determination and perseverance making and outstanding contribution and lasting impact in the legal field whilst balancing work life and home life.
The awards ceremony took place on Saturday, 28th September 2019 in the grand setting of the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
The President of the Society of Asian Lawyers, Ranjit Sond, Director of Public Prosecutions; Max Hill QC delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of diversity across the legal profession as a means of instilling trust the public place in lawyers. BBC Radio 5 presenter, Nihal was the host for the night. Barnardo’s were the charity of choice highlighting how the legal profession can assist the youngest and most vulnerable members of our communities.
The entertainers for the evening included comedian Sukh Ojla who brought laughter followed by outstanding performances from Raxstar and Juggy D.
Categories for the award included Rising Star Award, Company and Commercial Lawyer, Criminal Lawyer, Women in Law: 100 years, Civil Lawyer and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Over 600 eminent Judges, lawyers and their guests attended this prestigious event.
