Senior Partner and Solicitor for The Sethi Partnership Solicitors, Ritu Sethi, this week attended a special Diwali event hosted by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Light, officially begins on Thursday 19th October, and the evening event was held at the newly opened Lalit Hotel in London Bridge to celebrate both the Festival and mark the UK/India Year of Culture being organised by the British Council.
The event was well attended, with individuals including Deputy Mayor Rajesh Agrawal, Gurinder Chadha, Shekar Kapoor, and members from the Sai School of Harrow Team, with an amazing statue of Ganeshji providing an impressive backdrop to the proceedings.
Mr. Khan, who’s grandparents were born in India, spoke at the event, on issues such as Brexit, international trade, and the London economy, announcing a joint trip to both India and Pakistan later this year.
